No tattoo experience is required, this is a beginner class where you will learn the foundations of tattooing and will be given the tools to excel on your own time, at your own pace. Individuals who are creative, determined, hard-working, independent, and self-sufficient will have the means to succeed in this course.

Must be at least 18 years of age. Must have a steady hand and a creative eye. Must have patience and be willing to take constructive criticism. Must have an iPad with an apple pencil before class starts. Must have Bloodborne Pathogen Certification complete before class starts. 

This course is recommended for beginners who have either never touched a tattoo machine or someone who might have not received extensive information on topics like proper sanitation, machine stroke/speed, Procreate and other apps, the layers of skin and the Fitzpatrick scale, proper morals and ethics for a beginner tattoo artist, and so much more.

No. This course is simply to teach you the foundations of tattooing and giving you the tools you need to start your tattoo career. Licensing is different for every state, please look into the required licensing for your state and county. You will not be a full time tattoo artist at the completion of this course. Tattooing is a craft and takes time and patience as you learn your craft. Practice, patience, and perseverance must come before profit.

You are always welcome and encouraged to practice on fake skin at home. The regulations for tattooing on live models or clients is different in every state and county, but is NEVER to be done at home. If you are local to Arizona or Utah I can recommend some locations for you to work at. Please look into the required licensing for your state and county regarding your place of work. Strict art skills are not required to take this course, but creativity is essential. You will be given a tiny tattoo flash book with designs to work with as you build your art skills and refine your linework.
